Team Ninja Throwback! Unfortunately I had to back out after my two races, which I probably shouldn't have run, due to heat stroke. I just wanted to race so bad and had put so much time into my training. While everyone was warming up for our heat, I was throwing up, having dizzy spells and wanting to rip my head off my body from the pain. I had no energy or strength and when I fell I could not even get myself out of the water. And it became one of the worst days of my life. Thanks to @theninjalawyer for blocking the cameras when I was at my worst @ninjagodfather and @thebriankretsch for dressing me in their clothes when my body did cool down and @reallifeninja for not letting me be alone while my teammates ran the course and of course to @geoffbritten for immediately making a hard decision and hopping into an ambulance right after your run and experiencing 6 hours in an LA ER with me after being on a parking lot course for 12! That my friends, is what I LOVE about the ninja community.
