In this episode, Rich and Bijan discuss a variety of topics related to American Ninja Warrior and “ninja” competitions in general.
We discuss Season 1, episodes 6 and 7, which includes narrowing down the field of 15 competitors to the final 10 that are flown to Japan to compete on Sasuke.
Rich’s daughter chips in to help him get the advertising recorded for Atomik Climbing Holds with less than stellar results.
Video of the Week is an ANW8 submission video by Matthew Tortoriello, which contains tornados and the world’s most dangerous flag pole. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IWaEiwLuxBA)
Bijan describes his experiences at Tough Mudder in Southern California.
Fan of the Week is Bill Westrick, who took the time to demonstrate an uphill body prop. (https://twitter.com/billwestrick/status/659332649350275072)

Hi guys. Thanks for the spot on your podcast. So a little back story. My two friends and I started a company eight years ago where we have been buying properties in the Springfield, MA area renovating them and then renting them out. We currently have completely renovated over 115 buildings. And yes our first years we started a tradition of giving out turkeys and then it grew into giving a whole thanksgiving meal to all our tenants. So the flag was on a old power line that was not in use and it was on a hike I was doing with my girlfriend and it is kind of a tradition that any trip or hike we take I try and find an interesting way to do a flag 🙂
Thanks again and love the podcast.
Thanks for the clarification Matt! Now it makes more sense. 🙂
Just stumbled upon this! Pretty cool stuff!
